Robin Lane is certified as Teaching Partner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Cultural Council. Ms. Lane's industry experience includes a three decade long recording and performance career (Warner Bros.: Robin Lane & The Chartbusters) and songwriting for musicians including Susannah Hoffs (The Bangles), independent film soundtracks, and recording with Neil Young. Robin has a lengthy record of providing therapeutic music programming to at-risk youth Giving Youth A Voice and trauma survivors A Woman’s Voice.
Robin has successfully implemented her programs, Giving Youth a Voice and A Woman’s Voice as well as taught workshops on creativity and The Artist's Way at various locations, including: The New England Institute of Art; The Women’s Resource Centers of Western MA.; The Learning Exchange, Greenfield MA; Northfield Mt. Herman School, Northfield, MA; Academy at Charlemont, MA; Franklin Park Public Housing Community Center, Dorchester, MA; Western MA Correctional Alcohol Center; and many other locations. She has been a presenter at the Dare to Act Conference in Baltimore and Break The Silence Conference at Rowe, MA., as well presenting workshops and conferences for youth and women trauma survivors. Robin has received the E-chievement award from E-town Radio and The Ripple Effect Award from Woman's Fund of Western Massachusetts for her work. In addition, Ms. Lane has produced and recorded seven CD’s for her women’s music collaborative entitled A Woman’s Voice.
